I am a native of Aylmer , now part of the large city of Gatineau. I am very active in my commnity and in all affairs concerning my catholic chuch of Saint-Paul. My family and friends are and remain my anchor in life. After many years earning my "bread" I am now finally enjoying my "wine" by living my passion in my Art-Studio as a full time artist-painter.
In choosing painting as my preferred “coloured vocabulary” I found my voice in rendering the many facets of everyday living and nature’s wondrous temperaments. It matters not what painting medium, supports or style I apply – watercolour, acrylic, collages, ink; paper or canvas; abstract or realism, my choice is less important to me than the actual process and narrative of my vision and final creation. I earned my Fellowship in the Ottawa Watercolour Society (F.O.W.S.), I am also recipient of numerous awards and, without bragging, I have become a well-known teacher of watercolour and mixed media techniques. I continue to be a very active member in many art organizations in both the Outaouais and Ottawa areas.
While I am passionate about painting I am equally passionate about cooking; all food and ethnic cuisine.
